Hon. Emmanuel Gamegah (MCE Keta)
I wish to say a big thank you for taking time off your busy schedules to learn more about Keta Municipal Assembly. Permit me to seize this opportunity to re-assure you of our commitment to restore Keta to its glory days. My belief is that our overall strength will be dependent on the strength of the weakest link in this chain. Let us do our best. Let us leave none behind. Let us work for Mother Ghana.
Our people are anxiously looking up to us to deliver on the mandate and responsibilities bestowed on us by the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana. And we cannot fail them. We must place the interest of the municipal far and above our personal interests. We demand accountability of ourselves and the management of the Keta municipal assembly, to strengthen the credibility of the assembly. We believe this is just one of the numerous ways we can bring true development to our people.
We will work hard to fix the challenges with premix at our landing beaches, and by the grace of God, by the time our tenure runs out, Keta municipal will become a favorite tourist destination in the country. I urge all sons and daughters of the land, those living here and that outside, to put their shoulders to the mill in our ultimate pursuit of making Keta Municipal great again.
On education, let me officially welcome the new Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Benjamin Gbeve, who incidentally is a bosom friend and a colleague (we have been mates from Keta SSS through to Akatsi Training College), and herein pledge my full support in every way to push the development of education in the Keta municipality.
