The 60th Annual Inter-School Sports Festival, Co-hosted by Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco) and Keta Business College, brought together Nine Senior High Schools in a vibrant display of sportsmanship and talent.
The event, which saw intense competition across various disciplines, was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Seade, who served as the Chairman of the occasion. He expressed admiration for the high level of organization and the impressive athletic abilities exhibited by the students.
As a show of support, the MCE made a donation of GHS 5,000 toward the success of the event. Additionally, he personally presented:
GHS 1,000 to the Boys’ Soccer champions
GHS 500 to the Boys’ Soccer runner-up
GHS 500 to the Girls’ Soccer champion, and runner-up teams
He assured all participating schools that student-athletes would benefit from future Assembly budget allocations as part of efforts to promote sports development in the municipality.
Anlo-Zion College emerged as the winners of the Boys’ Soccer Tournament, earning well-deserved applause from fans and fellow students.
The MCE encouraged all schools to continue nurturing young talents, stating that sports remains a powerful tool for unity, discipline, and youth empowerment.
