A delegation from the Keta Municipal Assembly’s management team visited the Keta Market to conduct a thorough assessment of the existing facilities within the market premises with the aim of identifying areas that require improvement.
The management team, comprised of the Coordinating Director, Mr. Innocent Gavua, the Head of Works, Mr. Paul Sewor, the Finance Officer, Mr. Ransford Owusu, the Internal Auditor, Mr. Selorm Adigbli, and the MIS Officer, Mr. Fred Addo, demonstrated their commitment to enhancing the market’s infrastructure and facilities for the benefit of traders and the local community.
To address safety and security concerns, the management team had already tasked the ECG (Electricity Company of Ghana) with the responsibility of extending street lights to all sections of the market. This initiative aimed to create a safer and more conducive environment for both traders and customers.
By personally visiting the market, the management team showcased their hands-on approach and dedication to understanding the needs and challenges faced by market stakeholders. The insights gained from this visit will likely inform future development plans and initiatives to improve the overall functionality and appeal of the Keta Market, ultimately contributing to the growth and prosperity of the local economy.
