The Keta Municipal Assembly has officially welcomed Mr. Seth Kpodji as its new Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) at a management meeting held in the Assembly Hall on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Mr. Innocent Gauva, the outgoing MCD, introduced Mr. Kpodji to the management team, expressing his gratitude to staff for their cooperation during his tenure. He encouraged them to extend the same level of support to his successor.
In his maiden remarks, Mr. Kpodji conveyed his appreciation for the warm welcome and shared his vision for the Assembly. He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering an efficient, accountable, and responsive institution, and pledged to support the Hon. MCE in implementing key government policies and programmes.
“My doors are open. I believe in participatory and inclusive leadership. Together, we can build a municipality that truly meets the needs of our people,” he stated.
Mr. Kpodji emphasized key priorities including revenue mobilization, improved service delivery, and staff welfare.
Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Wisdom Seade, also addressed the gathering, describing the transition as part of the normal administrative process. He called on all staff to rally behind the new MCD in order to realize the Assembly’s development objectives.
Heads of departments, including Mr. Joseph Kabibayo (Central Administration), Madam Olivia Atanley (Human Resources), Mr. Benjamin Ayidzoe (Works), and the Municipal Fire Officer, expressed their full support for the new MCD and pledged their commitment to working collaboratively under his leadership
