The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Wisdom Seade, officially resumed work on Monday, 14th April 2025. On his first day in office, he met with key officials including the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Finance Officer, and the Human Resource Manager. During the meeting, the MCE was thoroughly briefed on the current state of the Assembly and the Municipality at large.

On his second day at work, Hon. Seade embarked on a familiarization tour of the Assembly premises, where he was introduced to staff members. He also inspected the official residence he is expected to occupy.

As part of his tour, the MCE visited the Keta Municipal Hospital to engage with the management of the facility. He continued to the Keta Police Headquarters and later visited the Keta Nursing and Midwifery Training School, where he interacted with both management and staff.

The entire tour was marked by warmth and enthusiasm, as Hon. Seade is no stranger to the Assembly. Having previously served as an Assembly Member, he is well-acquainted with the staff and familiar with most of the municipality’s key institutions.
