Responsibilities Include:

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

To coordinate overall human resources programmes within the Keta Municipal Assembly by providing operational support in the implementation of human resource policies and programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Department is to;

  • Ensure effective and efficient administration of human resources;
  • Ensure that institutional policies in respect of employment, personnel, wages and salaries are translated into good management practices;
  • Ensure human resource planning, facilitate recruitment of competent personnel and maintenance of good workplace interactions;
  • Ensure the regular updates of staff records;
  • Ensure the general welfare of staff;
  • Ensure the development of the capabilities, skills and knowledge of staff;
  • Co-ordinate the Employee Performance Management Cycle in the Keta Municipal Assembly; and
  • Report on human resource related activities.
