On the occasion of World Aged Day, a global initiative to celebrate and honor the elderly, prominent voices have called on assembly officials to prioritize periodic visits to senior citizens in the community. Recognizing the invaluable contributions of the elderly, the focus lies on addressing their needs and well-being.

Efforts to tackle social isolation among the elderly were highlighted, with the suggestion of organizing regular visits to provide companionship and support. Additionally, there is a pressing need to improve infrastructure in the municipality by creating recreational areas specifically designed for the aged. These spaces aim to promote physical activity, social interactions, and overall mental well-being.

The collective commitment to enhancing the lives of the elderly reflects society’s dedication to respecting and cherishing the wisdom and experiences of its senior members.
