Sanitation as a key factor to development needs to be practiced in all aspect of human life. Clean environment and surroundings help to control the outbreak of diseases like Cholera, measles, dysentery, typhoid fever etc. For this reason, National Day was set aside for all the communities to observe on every first Saturday of each month. The clean-up exercise took place in the community and along the beach.                                                                                     The communal exercise was successful in all the communities under the Let’s Zonal Council.
