According to the MCE, the Assembly will do everything within the law to ensure peace and orderliness in the market.

Few days ago, news broke that some unknown faces were about selling the parcel of land that is being used as the Korlebu market (Korlebushie).

Ejection order was served the women to vacate the market within 3 months without fail. The said letter was signed by Mr Kwami Aklorbortu and copied to CEO Ramson Echo Farms of Sunyani.

Speaking on behalf of the women, a 74-year-old Madam Adugba Fayose, who sees it all at the market thanked the MCE for responding to their call. According to her, the market serves a lot of people including workers at the Keta Municipal hospital and any attempt to remove or close the market will bring more hardships to them.
