In a gesture of support, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Finance Officer, and Head of Works Department visited Abor on Friday, July 14th, 2023, to present a set of furniture and roofing sheets to the Washa-Wego Zonal Council.

The visit aimed to enhance the council’s logistics and improve its capacity to serve the local community effectively. The furniture and roofing sheets are expected to facilitate the Council’s operations and provide a conducive environment for its members.

This initiative demonstrates the commitment of the Municipal Authorities to empower local councils and promote development at the grassroots level. The handover ceremony marks a significant milestone in strengthening governance and service delivery in the Abor community. The Assemblyman for Abor, Hon. Emmanuel Tsifoanya on behalf of the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Seth Adanu thanked the Management of the Assembly for the kind gesture.
