Hon. Wisdom Seade, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Keta, has attended the 2025 PRESBYTERY REPRESENTATIVE CONFERENCE organized by the Global Evangelical Church, held under the theme PREACH THE WORD (2 Timothy 4:1-2)
Addressing participants at the conference, Hon. Seade emphasized the significance of the President’s decision to merge the Ministries of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs. He explained that this move reflects the recognition of the church as a dependable and invaluable development partner to the state.
“We cannot fully account for all that the church has done and continues to do in shaping our communities,” he said, acknowledging the church’s historic contributions, particularly in education and infrastructure development.
Hon. Seade expressed his commitment to working closely with religious leaders through stakeholder engagement and affirmed his trust in their wise counsel to support the municipality’s development agenda.
“The church has demonstrated its capability by building and managing schools and churches effectively,” he noted, adding that such experience positions the church as a key ally in driving progress in Keta.
He concluded by echoing the conference’s theme, urging all to continue to PREACH THE WORD as a transformative message, particularly in reaching the youth and curbing the rising social vices in the municipality.
