The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Seade, and the District Chief Executive for Anloga, Hon. Sandra Kpedor, have paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Anlo-Dukor, Awormefia Torgbui Sri III, at his palace.

Speaking on behalf of the two political heads, Hon. Seade expressed gratitude to the Awormefia for his continued prayers and support. He reaffirmed the commitment of both the Keta and Anloga Assemblies to work closely with the traditional authority in promoting development across Anlo land.

Hon. Seade highlighted President John Mahama’s recognition of the critical role of traditional leaders, which informed the merger of the Local Government and Chieftaincy & Religious Affairs ministries.

Hon. Sandra Kpedor also reiterated their joint commitment to ensuring tangible improvements in Anlo land. She took the opportunity to thank the Awormefia for his support during her nomination and confirmation as the first female DCE of the Anloga District.

In response, Torgbui Sri III assured them of his full support, pledging to stand by them at all times. He expressed joy at being acknowledged in his role as the Overlord of the land and welcomed their visit warmly.

He also celebrated the historic appointment of Hon. Sandra Kpedor as the first female DCE of Anloga District, describing it as a proud moment for the Anlo Kingdom.
