The Development Planning Unit of the Keta Municipal Assembly has briefed the Municipal Planning Coordinating Unit (MPCU) on the official guidelines for preparing the 2026–2029 Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP).

This marks the initial phase of the planning process, setting the stage for the formation of a technical team to lead the development of the MTDP. The briefing provided key insights into the requirements and structure of the plan.

Following this, the technical team will undertake a situational analysis and identify priority development issues within the municipality. The final stages will involve formulating development goals, objectives, and strategies to guide Keta’s progress over the next four years.
