Today, March 1st, the Keta Municipal assembly declared March to be Basic Rate Collection Month.

The program was launched during a brief event on the Assembly’s grounds by the honorable Emmanuel Gemegah, the municipality’s chief executive.

He praised the Presiding Member Hon. Amos Ametsime and Hon. Seade of the Anyako electoral area for their leadership in paying their fundamental dues for the benefit of their constituents.

The DCE further implored all Assembly employees to pay their basic pay rates to guarantee that the Assembly could have extra money to invest in municipal developmental projects.

Several political party officials attended the launch, Prior to that, education on the collection of the basic rates commenced.
